At Hauteline, we hope to push the boundaries of what clothing rental and retail feels like to meaningfully change how and why we get dressed.
Our love of fashion and nature inspires everything we do. While we would never ask you to sacrifice the joy that comes from wearing a new outfit, we do invite you to reimagine what new can mean with us.
We strive to build a world where the best clothing is more sustainable and accessible. And we take comfort in knowing that, with us, you can wear what makes you feel boldly like yourself.

Hauteline was born out of a personal need—living in New York City in our 20s and working in fashion exposed us to an incredible range of designs and brands. At the same time, we became acutely aware of how wasteful the fashion industry can be, which inspired us to dream of how we could get dressed more sustainably. This led us to seek out better ways to get dressed, like rental and secondhand fashion. When we considered the options available at the time, they left us craving something that better aligned with our sense of style and desire for thoughtful curation and value.
This gap in the market and opportunity to make an impact inspired us to start Hauteline.
